JUSTIFY

JUSTIFY:   From Merriam-Webster dictionary:

  • : to provide or be a good reason for (something)

  • : to prove or show (something) to be just, right, or reasonable

  • : to provide a good reason for the actions of (someone)

This is not a favorite word of mine.  Some how it seems argumentative – to have to justify.   And people seem to be able to manipulate data to justify whatever side of an issue they are supporting/promoting.

The attitude I prefer is of waiting as the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
