Wealthy is not he who has more.

Wealthy is he who needs less.

Meditation for World Peace

earth-from-space-45

In meditating for World Peace this morning, I was searching for the feeling that exemplifies Peace, Harmony, and Good-will for me.   I find that if I can feel the intended outcome, then I can visualize it as being a co-creative human.

The thought that exemplified World Peace for me is the feeling of peace and good will at Christmas time. Every religion has their celebration of peace, no? Anyway, I can find a lot of peace within when feeling the Spirit of Christmas. Then I picture that feeling having spread to all humans with their different cultures from Asia, Africa, China, Europe, North America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Russia, Japan, North and South Korea, Pacific islands, etc.

Picture your feeling of peace and good-will and then picture the world living in that space of harmony.

Counter – Coup

Politics on an inspirational themed blog?    I do so as I see the current political scene as a WAR of benevolent vs evil forces.  This You Tube captures the essence of what I believe to be the current world stage.  At the end, this young man,  Issac Green, ends in a prayer and clarifies that “The Force in the universe is universal.  Petty differences in ideology is honestly irrelevant.”

The Receptive

Today I went to TAO Oracle, An illuminated New Approach to the I Ching by Ma Deva Padma.   Refreshing boxed study/application set including a little book (well the length and width is little, but it is 310 pages), 64 cards representing each of the Aspects of the Tao Oracle, plus 3 coins for Accessing the Changes. Really a nice way to study I CHING.

I drew 2 THE RECEPTIVE.  Which gave me this humorous guidance “Stop worrying about being right or wrong.  In the moment you can’t help but be in synchronicity with the Tao.  The only thing that gets in the way of being totally in the dance of life is worrying where to put your feet.:”

The Magician

KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA

Tarot appeals to me as it creates a form of spiritual reflection.  Recently I pulled the MAGICIAN.  I like the guidance found in Amber Jayanti’s book, LIVING THE TAROT.
On page 42 she stated “The Magician’s Hebrew name, Beth, means ‘house’. …spend some time treating your body like a house for your inner God/dess.

This jolts me to remembrance of a recurring dream. This dream is at my house and it seems like a lot of people are there. I then remember that I have these unused forgotten rooms, more like an apartment, in my house that are not being used, that I have accommodations for my visitors!

The contents of these rooms in my dreams are fully functional and furnished for occupancy.  Left unused and forgotten. Usually the forgotten rooms in my dream are from a hallway door which leads to 3 rooms; a sitting room, a bedroom and a bathroom.  Only 3 rooms. In Tarot there are 4 suits / rooms (represented on the Magician’s table as tools at his disposal):
Wands, representing Fire, an idea, thinking, creative imagination;
Cups, representing water, emotion, feelings;
Swords representing Air, discernment to manifest, realm of the mind;
and Pentacles representing earth, material world, manifestation.

Since the Magician is a symbol of higher consciousness being brought thru oneself to earth, am I am being told that I have forgotten gifts of wisdom / higher consciousness (rooms) that I have to offer?   Unless utilized they remain non-manifested.  It appears that their manifestation, symbolized by the Pentacle,  is the forth item missing in my tool bag.

Seeing as I had been guided to create this blog as a manifestation of my gifts. And I have not utilized this space (rooms) to bring my insights / gifts to light, I now have the Magician pointing out to me that I need to manifest my creative imagination, emotions, discernment; and this blog can assist.   Stay tuned to see if I persevere.

GRATITUDE

Gratitude for nature’s beauty

Today’s DAILY VOICE calls Gratitude THE GOLDEN KEY.   Gratitude is helpful for me.  It does adjust the mind set to be more productive, get out of the doldrums, and be at peace. At this time of year, winter, with less sunlight, this is another tool for your psychological well-being tool box.

Laura Walker of the Oracle Report, posted 3/27/2017 in her overview for this Solar Year:  Recognize our abundance and blessings.  If we are able to keep this in mind everyday throughout the year; that we are possessed with more gifts than we can hold, our attitude may shift,  we may adjust and acclimate to the strong winds of this year more effectively.”

SPEAK TO ME

From January 9th DAILY VOICE,  I questioned my Higher consciousness on my unanswered concerns or probable concerns.  Drew a blank.   So maybe I defined it as a ‘maybe’ question and that’s why I didn’t get any resolution.

When asking a Yes or No, I did feel that I had a response (and it was not the one I thought I would get).    Try to play with this and see what awareness you get.

LISTEN

The DAILY VOICE  for January 8 is  LISTEN FOR THE SOUND OF SPIRIT.     Irreverently,  while typing this, I have YouTube running in the background,  clouding my mind with current events.   So much for listening to my Higher Consciousness!

I am reading SECOND SIGHT by Judith Orloff, MD.   I am at the part about the powerful tool of Meditation.  Knowing that I want to develop this discipline to quiet my mind and Listen,  I find this particular DAILY VOICE speaking directly to me.  It is not too late to make a resolution to invest in my Self by setting aside the time to develop my ability to meditate.
